2025/26 Tryout Registration
Southwest Admirals is focused on delivering Rep A and B Minor Hockey to the existing home centres in the Blyth-Brussels, Goderich, Mid Huron, Mitchell, and Zurich.
Rep A Division will include a (1) single birth year team from U10 (2016) to U16 (2010) and U18 (2008) & (2009).
Rep B Division will include a dual birth year team from U11, U13, U15 and U18.
If a player is not selected for Rep A and Rep B through the Southwest Admirals, they will return for local league hockey out of their home centre.
OHF Open Borders:
What does “open borders” mean with respect to the Zone Participation?
- Starting in 2025-26, the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) has lifted residency restrictions for Representative hockey at U10 and above. Players are free to try out for teams in any zone or association if willing to travel.
Tryout dates:
U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15 and U16 Rep 'A' Tryouts: May 4-11
U11, U13, and U15 Rep 'B' Tryouts: May 11-17
U18 Rep 'A' Tryouts will be conducting evaluation ID skates in May 2025 with additional ID skates in August for the purpose of player commitments
U18 Rep 'B' Tryouts will be in Fall 2025.
Projected 2025/26 Season Registration Fees:
Players will be given the optional opportunity to find sponsors for their individual player registration such as home jersey, away jersey and helmet sponsor. Sponsorship letter templates will be provided.

The above fees are strictly registration fees, as always additional fees will apply at the coaches discretion. Additional costs may include (but not limited to): team swag, tournament fees, dry land training, specialty sessions such as power skating, etc.
