The U18A Southwest Admirals put together a championship-caliber performance, sweeping the West Coast White Caps in back-to-back games to secure the WOAA U18A Cruickshank title and a perfect four-point finish.
Game one in Clinton saw the Admirals take control early in a 7–2 victory, powered by a relentless, full-team effort. Logan Morley got the start and was solid between the pipes, making key saves to keep momentum firmly on the Admirals’ side. In front of him, the team executed with precision—rolling all lines, applying constant pressure, and capitalizing on opportunities. Their power play units were sharp and decisive, while the penalty kill shut things down with structure and urgency.
Game two in Lucknow was a tighter, more defensive battle, with the Admirals locking in for a 3–0 shutout to seal the championship. Carter Beddow was outstanding, turning away every shot he faced with calm, controlled play. The defensive core played a disciplined game, limiting second chances and keeping the White Caps to the outside. Special teams once again stood tall, with a perfect penalty kill and a power play that generated momentum at key moments.
Across both games, the Admirals proved that their strength lies in their collective identity. Strong communication, trust in their systems, and consistent execution across all three lines and defensive pairings made them difficult to contain.
With the WOAA championship secured, the Admirals now set their sights on the OMHA Championships in Whitby, Ontario, April 3–5, 2026—carrying with them elite goaltending, disciplined special teams, and a true team-first approach that makes them a serious contender.
